Community Realty Management

A full service real estate management organization, Community Realty Management is engaged in the business of managing investment real estate holdings. The company is skilled in the management of affordable housing, conventional apartments, condominium, cooperative, homeowner associations, public housing and professional office buildings. A specialty of the company is the management of affordable properties. The firm has a long and successful track record in the management of Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties, along with all other forms of housing and programs within the affordable housing industry. CRM is experienced in working effectively with the following regulatory agencies:

  • Department of Housing & Urban Development, Offices in Baltimore, Newark, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Richmond and San Juan
  • New Jersey Housing & Mortgage Finance Agency
  • Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency
  • Maryland Department of Housing & Community Development
  • Virginia Housing Development Authority

Headquartered in Pleasantville, New Jersey, located just outside of Atlantic City, the staff consists of six senior level corporate officers, nine executive property managers, four department directors, seven administrative assistants, four occupancy/compliance specialists, an information technology coordinator, ten accounting, bookkeeping and payroll related staff members and a receptionist.

CRM handles all the functions normally associated with full-service property management. In 1981 the firm was awarded the prestigious Accredited Management Organization (AMO) designation by the Institute of Real Estate Management, and employs eight Certified Property Managers in many corporate leadership and property management positions. In addition, the firm's accounting department is supervised by a licensed C.P.A. Three members of the Occupancy and Compliance Department hold the Housing Credit Compliance Professional (HCCP) designation. CRM is also a member of many national and state associations in the real estate field.

Community Realty Management is a New Jersey corporation organized in 1974 and is a licensed real estate broker in New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania. The firm is responsible for management of over 9,100 units of housing in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Many of these properties are financed and/or regulated by federal and state housing finance agencies.

Community Realty Management is currently managing eighteen properties involved in the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program. The Occupancy and Compliance Department is supervised by a senior executive holding the HCCP and CPM designations.
